Well, they say all good things must come to an end and, this evening is that time. The high temperatures are gone and nowhere to be seen in the 7 day forecast. I knew, this early in the year, it was inevitable. The rain and wind has moved in and the temperatures are dropping into the 40's (day) and 30's (night)and will beginning raising some by the weekend. I haven't given up on fishing, yet. We have a trip to the lake in the works for this weekend and as long as the temps aren't freezing and the winds stay "reasonable", we should be able to go.
Sounds as if the wind may be dying down, if so, it'll be a great night for sleep. The only thing better than rain when you're sleeping, is rain on a metal roof when you're sleeping. It lulls you right into dream world.

Oh you are right about the sound of rain at night. I just love it. In fact, if I were in charge of the world, I'd only have rain at night - that way it wouldn't mess up outdoor plans in the daytime! Sound good to you?

I live in Arkansas! Haven't got to go yet, but I think I will be able to this week.
