Saddest Post

I don't even want to say this because it hurts each time I do. Cody and Heather lost the baby. Please pray for them and pray that Heather will not have further complications from this.

Thanks for being there for us.

  3. I'm really sorry to hear this. It is a very tough thing to go through and very heart breaking. We went through that last year the day before Christmas with our oldest daughter. She went in at 3 months and the heart beat was gone.
Then my other daughter lost her first baby this past fall and is about to start trying again. It's just so sad to watch your kids hurt.
However, our oldest is expecting again and she is due 01/01/10 and we are are so thankful and anxiously awaiting our first grandchild.
Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. ((hugs))

  4. Thanks so much, Sandy! I am sorry to hear of your losses, too. It is the saddest thing and really tough for their young minds to wrap around. My son is so soft hearted and I hate that this has happened. Heather is still in denial and, unfortunately, her parents are too.
I appreciate your kindness. My prayers are with your family, as well. Can't wait to see that Grandbaby!

I really appreciate you talking with me the other day. You are the sweetest, most caring person. You just don't know what that meant to me.

  8. Oh Gena I am so sorry to hear this! I lost my first two - been there. It is heartbreaking and it's so darned hard to think about the "reason" at the time but I simply must believe there IS a reason - or was one in my two losses. I was eventually blessed with two fabulously healthy kids, which certainly, in the big picture of life, is reward enough for me. I will pray for emotional healing and send much love and many hugs to you all!

  10. Thanks so much Patti and Ali.

Suzen, I am so glad you got to know the joy of children. I, too, believe their is a reason and I try not to question but it's so hard.

  14. So sorry for your family's loss...I know that pain all too well and the higher power had better plans for them as a couple and as parents. Hold steady as the payout for them will be so rewarding. Again so sorry.

  21. Hi Gena - Thanks to FishHawk for sending me to your blog - I really like it. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that your unexpected joy has turned to such sorrow. I will keep you, Cody and Heather in my thoughts and prayers. God must've been in a big hurry to have their precious angel come home - which means their little bundle was extra special. xx
